Gbaramatu Ijaw Fun Ware is a language school dedicated to teaching and preserving the rich Gbaramatu-Ijaw dialect for individuals who desire to understand, speak, read, and appreciate the language of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The school was established with the vision of bringing the culture, traditions, values, and heritage of the Izon people closer to present and future generations. Through structured language learning, cultural education, and historical awareness, Gbaramatu Ijaw Fun Ware serves as a bridge connecting people to their roots and identity.

As part of its commitment to cultural preservation, Gbaramatu Ijaw Fun Ware is affiliated with Gbaramatu Kingdom History Media, the historical archive of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom. Together, both organizations are working to promote, preserve, and document the history, language, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Gbaramatu people and the wider Izon nation.

Language remains one of the strongest pillars of identity, and the preservation of indigenous languages is essential for safeguarding culture and history for future generations. The Izon language is one of the major Ijaw languages spoken across the Niger Delta, with several dialects, including the Gbaramatu dialect.
