Gbaramatu Kingdom Remembers Late High Chief Alfred Makaraba Bubor Nine Years After His Passing

The people of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom have continued to honor the memory of Late High Chief (Dr.) Alfred Makaraba Bubor (JP), AHNR, popularly known as Ologbo I, as the ninth anniversary of his passing is commemorated.

In a tribute released on behalf of the family, his son, Perezide Duke Bubor, described the late chief as an exceptional leader, historian, and father whose legacy remains deeply rooted in the hearts of his people.

According to the tribute, despite his departure nine years ago, the influence of High Chief Bubor continues to be felt across Gbaramatu Kingdom and beyond. He was celebrated for his wisdom, extensive knowledge, and unique leadership style, which earned him admiration and respect from people far and near.

The family noted that his contributions to the development and unity of the kingdom, as well as the sacrifices he made for the collective interest of the people, remain unforgettable.

Remembered as a great historian and custodian of culture, the late Ologbo I left behind a legacy that continues to inspire future generations.

"As your children, we remain proud of you and the values you stood for. The people of Gbaramatu Kingdom miss you, and we miss you even more," the tribute stated.

The remembrance concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of the late chief, whose life and service continue to be celebrated nine years after his passing.
